We Need You - and There’s a Place for Everyone!

Our events are what make the Jaycees year meaningful, fun, and impactful - and they only happen because of members like you.

Please take a moment to watch the short video below to learn more about our 2026–2027 events. Then, sign up in a way that feels right for you: leading an event, helping as part of a team, or simply participating.

You don’t have to do this alone - support is always available, and every role matters!

Community Service Project: Bring your best brainstorming! This year‑round project focuses on identifying and developing new ways we can support needs in our community.

Future Philanthropist: Review student submissions and help support young philanthropists by awarding funding for community service ideas.

Fun Committe: Help plan quarterly social events and activities for our members.

Fair Stand: Our largest fundraiser of the year - help run our food stand for breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout fair week to support the chapter and serve our community. August 7-15, 2026

Golf Tournament: Plan a fun day on the course by organizing the tournament, securing sponsorships, and helping facilitate the event.

Adopt a Highway: Help clean up and maintain a stretch of roadway to keep our community safe and beautiful.

Halloween Parade: Our town’s largest parade! An all‑hands event featuring a Best Float competition judged by former Jaycees and broadcast on BRTV.

Community Service Awards: Manage award submissions, select a recipient, and help host an event honoring outstanding community leaders. This is also our November General Meeting

Santa Greeting: Dress up as Santa & his elves and spread holiday cheer by visiting members’ families. Opportunity to grow this project to a community event this year!

Christmas Shopping Tour: Assist children with Christmas shopping and gift wrapping to help make the season special for their families.

Basketball Tournament: Help run a post‑Christmas basketball tournament by working with local school coaches, gathering sponsors, and facilitating a fun community event.

Christmas Party: Help plan a fun and festive holiday celebration for Jaycees and their spouses.

Bosses Night: Collect nominations and help host a community event honoring outstanding bosses, including the employers of our Jaycees members. This is also our January General Meeting

Jaycees Reuinion/New Member Mixer: Bring together current, former, and new Jaycees for a relaxed social event focused on connection, networking, and welcoming new members.

Easter Egg Hunt: Facilitate a free community event for children by stuffing over 2,000 eggs and planning a fun-filled day that’s over in just minutes!

Easter Flower Project: Facilitate a community event for children by stuffing over 2,000 eggs and planning a fun-filled day that’s over in just minutes!

Canoe Race: Run a paddling event on the river by coordinating online registration, food vendors, sponsors, and event logistics.

Scholarship Awards: Coordinate with local school districts, manage applications, and help select college‑bound students for a scholarship awarded in honor of an Ex‑Jaycee.

Home Run Derby: Plan and run a fun community Home Run Derby event, including registration, setup, and event logistics.
